Our commitment
JMR Trade & Transport Services Corp is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or screen magnifiers. We believe an accessible web is a better web for everyone, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time checkbox.
Standards we aim for
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These internationally recognized guidelines help make web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with a wide range of disabilities. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is our target, and we work toward it as the site evolves.
Measures we take
In building and maintaining this website, we apply practices that support accessibility, including:
- Semantic HTML structure so content is meaningful to assistive technologies.
- Full keyboard navigability for interactive elements, without requiring a mouse.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background for readability.
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting, reducing animation for people who prefer less movement. - Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and clear labels for form fields and controls.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. In particular, certain third-party or embedded content and some interactive visuals may not meet every accessibility criterion. We are aware of these gaps and are working to improve them continuously as we update the site.
